The AGM / Sunday Lunch Reunion was held at The Whittington Inn on the A449 near to Kinver on Sunday April 13th 2008. The attendance was down on the previous year with only 28 people present. The AGM part of the proceedings was carried out first, with the accounts for 2007 being presented. For the first time, the accounts had been audited following a suggestion raised by Brian Freeman at the 2007 meeting. The audit had been carried out by Pat Keedwell ( Hobbs ), a pupil at the school from 1957-1962.
The next part was the informal Sunday Lunch which was excellent with no complaints from anyone as regards the service or the food. This year we had to eat in an area separate to the room used for the AGM as there had been a problem with a gas supply. Usually, the AGM and lunch take place in the same room which is part of the attraction of the venue.
The member who had travelled furthest to the AGM was Pat Wedge ( Harrison ) who was visiting her sister Janice from Canada. Pat started at the school in 1954 and Janice started in 1957.
