News about the WMGSOPA AGM & Luncheon 2009

The AGM / Sunday Lunch 'Get-together' was held at The Whittington Inn on the A449 near to Kinver on Sunday April 19th 2009.

The AGM went very well, 37 people attended with the usual good weather helping to make the day.
We have no problems with The Whittington Inn, the room is ideal for the 'dual purpose' of the day ( AGM & Lunch ), and once again I was not aware of any complaints as regards the standard of the menu..

The Committee were voted in again en-bloc with no opposition - perhaps we are doing some things right !

An encouraging thing was that there were some new faces attending. One of those was Pat Timms ( Bayliss at school ) who had joined the Association via a visit to your website at her local library. Another notable attendee was Brenda Rosa ( Holt at school ) all the way from Rockville USA. ( She is one of the trio of Brendas on one of the photos )
All in all, a most enjoyable few hours with no problems - long may it continue.
