2. 2008 Presidential Luncheon:

We also received some photos of the Presidential Luncheon held at the Thornescroft Restaurant, Shipley near Wolverhampton on Monday June 2nd 2008. The meal was hosted by Lionel Wernick, with family members in attendance, his school years colleagues, the WMGSOPA committee and various other groups.

There were around 90 people at the function which was an extremely pleasant occasion. As usual, the food and service at the restaurant were excellent and enhanced by Lionel's entertaining recollections of his schooldays and the different times of the war and post-war years.
